Woody Creek River Ranch

A great property on the river, mired by a tired old ranch house, becomes a landmark achievement.

The new owner started with the idea of a minor update then decided to switch gears and strive for all out perfection in materials, design, and implementation; resulting in an exquisite and unique masterpiece by Giant.

Modern kitchen with a dark island, extensive wood cabinetry, open shelving, and exposed ceiling beams.

Here's the dated and busy configuration of the original kitchen.

Giant reimagined the space into this grand yet simple and comfortable design.

The original Study seen below was downright claustrophobic.

Judd and his team took out all the walls to combine the space into an open sitting, dining, entertaining area with two-story, temperature-contolled wine storage and disappearing giant slider giving way to the outdoor natural-rock terrace.

Curved glass wine cellar beside a round dining table beneath exposed timber beams.

In one of Judd's most inspired moves, what was once this big wall of closets

Became this temperature-controlled two-story wine cellar made of waved glass, tempered steel, and smooth mortar.
